| Spartans Corey Williams named UAA Athlete of the Week (PITTSFIELD, NY) - For the first time in his young career, Case Western Reserve University sophomore Corey Williams has been named the University Athletic Association Men's Outdoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week, announced the league office on Tuesday. Williams competed in a Division I-heavy field at the University of South Florida Bulls Invite on Friday, March 16 and placed eighth in the 3,000-meter run. The second-year Spartan posted a career-best time of 9:04.02 to finish behind seven Division I runners in the 28-competitor field.
