Kirtland (PR 2) 10-0, defeated Independence 63-28 – The defending state champs are ready to run the table again. A home game, plus Ursuline falling to the 7th seed, gives the Hornets a shot to play deep into November. Week 11 vs Fort Wayne (8-2) at Kirtland. |

Mentor (PR 3) 9-1, defeated Twinsburg 41-0 – The Cardinals won the outright NOC Valley title by trouncing the Tigers. Second level points bumped Mentor up to the fourth spot. Week 11 vs Warren G. Harding (9-1) at Mentor. |

Fairport Harbor (PR 7) 7-3, defeated Newbury 54-7 –The Skippers have a once in a decade team. They’ve played some good teams so far, but the real journey starts this week. Week 11 at Malvern (9-1). |

Riverside (PR 6) 7-3, defeated Madison 21-20 – The Beavers were the surprise act of the PAC and played spoiler against Madison. Memo to the other PAC teams: Riverside will be a force to be reckoned with next year. |

Lake Catholic (PR 4) 6-4, lost to Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin 21-0 – The winning streak came to an end at the hands of a great Lions squad. Injuries led to a slow start, but Mike Bell got his team back on the winning path. |

Madison (PR 5) 6-4, lost to Riverside 21-20 – Madison was in the driver’s seat to make the playoffs, but another close loss kept the Blue Streaks from playing in week 11.

Perry (PR 8) 4-6, lost to Chagrin Falls 56-16 – For the second year in a row, Perry didn’t play like Perry. Is it time for Perry to move down to the CVC Metro. |

Wickliffe (PR 9) 3-7, lost to Perry 41-26 – Injuries hurt Wickliffe early in the year and depth was a problem once they got into the heart of their CVC schedule. One thing is clear, it’s time for the Blue Devils to move down to either the CVC Metro or the Valley division. |

North (PR 10) 1-9, lost to South 44-7 – It wasn’t the kind of rebuilding year the Rangers hoped for. Still, the players progressed throughout the year. They’ll be much better in 2013. |

Harvey (PR 11) 0-10, lost to Orange 39-12 – Give the Red Raiders credit, they didn’t quit. With a coaching staff in place, the players will have a normal offseason. Look for Harvey to score more than 54 total points next year. |
