The According to multiple media reports, the OHSAA football playoffs are back on track with Mayfield and Edgewood both playing at their scheduled times this weekend. A Cuyahoga Common Pleas Court Judge rescinded his temporary restraining order Friday afternoon, which cleared the way for Mayfield and Edgewood to play their games. An official with the OHSAA said the issue is finished and neither school (Cleveland Heights or Beachwood) would be taking any further legal action.
Edgewood will play Brookfield at 7:30 pm tonight at George Nicholas Field in Maury, OH. Mayfield and St. Edward will square off at 1:00 pm on Saturday at Byers Field in Parma, OH.
