Looking back at the keys to the game. The first key was to score early in the period and the Monsters did not do that tonight. Second key was to continue to dominate the kill the Monsters gave up one powerplay goal and the third key was to extend the streak against the Checkers to 4 straight which the Monsters could not do. Player of the game goes to Matiss who really kept us in the game.

The first star went to Jake Bean with a goal and an assist, second star Julien Gauthier with a goal and third star Steven Lorentz with a goal and an assist.
