The Lake County Sentinel was founded in 1997 as The Wickliffe Tribune. In 1998 the name was to the Lake County Sentinel. The Sentinel printed from 1997 to 2006 but is now an online news organization. In 2021 The Sentinel will once again begin publishing a print edition.
