Wickliffe pounds VASJ on senior night 6-0
Saturday .
The .
The only goal of the game came with 32:43 left in the first half when Junior Nick Colbert blasted a shot from the side past the Raider goal keeper to give the Blue Devils the lead.

From that point on the defense had things in control.  Columbia spent very little time past mid field only tallying an unofficial four shots on goal in the game.

Things got a little chippy in the second half as Riley Pugh was accessed a yellow card for a hard hit on a Columbia player.  Just 1:41 later Tyler Hites of Columbia was also accessed a yellow card for an aggressive hit.

Wickliffe dominated the shots on goal in the game with an unofficial total of 27 to 4.

It was apparent early that the Raiders were no match for the Pugh brothers and Senior Brady Wilson defensively as well as Junior Daniel Kishmarton and sophomore Robby Hillyard who filled in for Kishmarton near the end of the first half and for a few minutes of the second half as Kishmarton dealt with an apparent leg or foot injury.

With the win the Blue Devils improve to 9-2-1 and are in action again next Saturday at home against the Brooklyn High School Hurricanes at 1:00 p.m.
