Storm wins fifth straight
(PHILLIPI, WV) - The Lake Erie College volleyball team extended their winning streak to five games with a thrilling five set victory on the road over the Alderson Broaddus University Battlers on Tuesday.

The Storm improved to 5-3 on the year with a 3-2 (28-26, 19-25, 21-25, 25-17, 15-13) victory over the Battlers. Lake Erie battled back from a 2-1 deficit to win the fifth straight match.

The Storm was led by Crystal Kedroske , who finished with a double-double. Kedroske had a team-high 19 kills, 15 digs and three service aces. Lee Lee Barrettadded 17 kills along with a .433 hitting percentage. Brooke Peiffer  had ten kills for the Storm.

On defense, Sidney Fletcher  led the way with 16 digs. Alexis Thomas made 52 assists and had ten digs with two service aces.

The Storm will open conference play with a GLIAC matchup against the Walsh University Cavaliers at the Osborne Center on Friday (Sept. 16).
