Brown allowed 12 hits and and nine earned runs in 4.1 innings. With the RubberDucks operating with a very thin bullpen, he came back out for the fifth, but gave up a one-out double to Stetson Allie and was lifted in favor of Louis Head. Head allowed an RBI single to Newman to make it a 9-0 game. Head lasted 2.2 innings and gave up one run of his own. Casey Weathers worked the ninth without allowing a run. The Curve were not retired in order in any inning.
