DH Hanley Ramirez (1-3, 2RBI) drove in a pair of runs with a first-inning single, while C Roberto Perez(1-2, HR, RBI, R) added a solo homer in the 3rd inning. Cleveland’s offense was powered, in part, by four doubles, including SS Ryan Flaherty’s (1-3, 2B, 2RBI) two-run, two-sacker in the 5th. 3B Jose Ramirez (2-3, 2B, R) also chipped in a pair of hits.

RF Tyler Naquin (2-3, 2R) had his first multi-hit game of the spring, hitting singles in the 1st and 5th. RF Trenton Brooks(1-1, BB, R, RBI) homered in his first at-bat of the spring, a solo shot to lead off the 7th inning. RHP Cody Anderson had his first start and third appearance of the spring cut short by a pair of early fielding errors (1.0+IP, 4H, 6R-2ER, 3BB, 1SO). RHP Nick Wittgren and RHP Henry Mertinez both tossed scoreless innings. Martinez has made six scoreless appearances with four strikeouts this spring (6.0IP, SV, 2H).
